Random things that make me happy

  • My flight to NY today was number 678
  • That a restaurant called Fishers of Men II exists- I passed it on my bus ride from the airport to the dorms.  I can’t help but imagine that name literally, and wonder what it’s like inside and what kind of food they serve.  
  • Chicago, but that goes without saying

Things like charm quarks, strange quarks, and exotic particles make me wish I were a particle physicist, just so I could throw those terms around in my everyday speech.  

Sing-alongs and ‘Subway Idol’ with strangers at the train stop at 3:30 a.m are kind of wonderful. One man was even swaying in the background with a lighter.
